In 2017 Dick Daniels approached Mollie Bozarth with an idea for a book. What if kids could use technology to message God!? With characters inspired by Dick’s grandkids and Mollie’s nieces and nephews, the Oak Street Treehouse friends came to life. Each book approaches the subject of God and faith with simple, tactile lessons as God answers each question His young friends ask. Throughout the series, readers learn about God’s love for them and His love for others!

The Oak Street friends must decide whether or not to welcome a new kid who moved in. They revisit the list of questions from Oak Street Treehouse: The Day They Messaged God. This time they ask God, "Do you really love everybody in the whole wide world?" God gets them thinking about what it means to be a neighbor...whether you like or love someone or not.
The Oak Street friends love spending time with their neighbor, Grandpa GG! He likes to sit and eat cookies and tell them about his wife who is in heaven. One day Grandpa GG is taken away in an ambulance and dies on the way to the hospital. As the kids process various emotions, they revisit the list of questions from Oak Street Treehouse: The Day they Messaged God. This time they ask God, "What is heaven like? And how do we get to heaven?" God tells them about the Bible verse, John 3:16. He helps them to see that you can celebrate life without fearing death.
